nts with the common objective of providing credit enhancement solutions, which contribute to the promotion of private sector investments in the renewable energy sector in Africa. In addition to the financial instruments, the EGRE Platform contains a technical assistance component aimed at supporting the deployment of related guarantees. Under this EIB EGRE TA programme, the objective is to support public authorities in the Pilot Countries to prepare new RE generation projects as IPPs and enhance the bankability of the Pilot Projects though mobilizing the financial instruments included in the EGRE Platform. The Contracting Authority intends to select a Transaction Advisory Services Provider (the “TAS Consultant”) to support the development and implementation of the Projects in two Pilot Countries. One of these Pilot Countries should be Kenya while the other will be confirmed during the second phase of the procurement process.
