hority. The motivation behind this project is based on the need to replace the current wind sensors that have been used in KNMI’s automated network. The scope of this European tender is to purchase 3D sonic wind sensors and the 3rd line maintenance. The initial expected order value of the purchase of the offered Solution is 214 sensors. For this tender the General Procurement Agreement (GPA) applies. The expected order value of the purchase of the offered Solution is 214* sensors x € 3.200 to € 6.000 per Solution = € 700.000 to € 1.300.000,-. The sensors are including cables and accessory for aligning to direction north. 3rd line maintenance, which involves advanced technical support and specialized knowledge, is expected to incur varying costs depending on factors such as the price of spare parts and the level of service required. Costs for training are estimated at € 15.000,-.
