The hospital already uses robots within gastro surgery, urology, gynaecology and vessel surgery. The new robot will be included in daily operation and will be used by all four of the specialist departments that currently do robotic surgery. The robot is planned to be used for both benign surgery and cancer surgery. 3 options are wanted equivalent to the main product, of which 1 is for the hospital in Helse Sør-Øst, 1 to Oslo universitetssykehus HF and 1 to Stavanger universitetssykehus HF.
