Competence planning in the municipality is currently characterised by ad hoc work and fragmentary measures without connection across the organisation. The few workplaces that work more systematically with this, spend a lot of time on manual mapping and also do not have the necessary tools to lift their eyes beyond their own unit. In the future it is desirable to work more overall and long term. The municipality would like an overview of employees ́ competence in order to assess the competence need and insert target initiatives connected to mobilisation, development and recruitment of competence. The municipality would like to use this to manage competence in such a way that the quality of training and competence planning is increased, saves time by automating and/or simplifying manual processes, avoiding unnecessary costs in the future and ensuring that we have enough and the right labour at all times.
