The parties can mutually agree on extending the contract to also apply for a period of further 12 or 24 months after 2030-08-31. Such an extension must be agreed by 2030-05-31 in addition the Builder has the option to extend the contract for 12 months, from 1 September in the year the contract was agreed to end (i.e. either at the end of the original contract period, or at the end of the prolonged contract period in accordance with the previous section), up to and including 31 August the following year.2.1.1.
