The option period is justified based on the contracting authority ́s disadvantage when replacing the tenderer. Further details on the contracting authority ́s needs are stated in chapter 2. Requirement Specification.The contracting authority shall, through the choice of a bank connection, support efficient operation of banking services in the form of optimal liquidity management, operational liquidity, payment facilitation, efficient communication systems, reporting and other daily banking services. The contract shall also give the contracting authority the option for financing and placement of surplus liquidity in the long term.
