The climate and environmental impact of the project is reduced by preparing MOP with requirements related to the topics. The biggest factors will be climate gas emissions from materials and energy needs of the building. The MOP requires a 20% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from materials in relation to DFØ ́s reference for school buildings. The reference values represent the current practice. There are also requirements for net energy need 20% lower than TEK 17. This is also an improvement of the current practice connected to the building ́s energy need. The project has, therefore, set requirements for both energy and materials that lead to a reduced climate and environmental impact. It is
