Bergen municipality ́s premises are of varying age and quality and have different uses: Nurseries, schools, nursing homes and other health centres, sports, culture and activity buildings, administrative buildings, shared housing and others. Window cleaning will not follow the scheduled washing plans. It is the individual municipal unit that determines whether and when window cleaning is carried out and that orders services as needed. The contract is for windows that are in the building ́s outer walls. Window cleaning can include both external glass surfaces and internal glass surfaces for windows that are in the building ́s outer walls, or only one of the parts. Internal glass walls/room dividers are not included in the agreement. Furthermore, window cleaning includes washing of internal and external sills and canteen, as well as other tasks necessary for window cleaning. This can apply to the lubrication of hinges and poles, as well as notification of any damage or wear and tear that is discovered during the execution of the work.
