Across suppliers, there are no standards or agreed definitions that describe the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) services the customer wants to purchase. It is decisive that the systems that the municipality procures can be administered by the municipality ́s IT personnel. The systems are in development, and functionality beyond the minimum requirements can be included in the procurement. Including whether EDR and SIEM are fully or partially administered by the service provider and connected to a Security Operations Center (SOC). The scope of the competition is estimated to NOK 1.000.000 excluding VAT per annum, total NOK 5.000.000 excluding VAT.
