Kristiansand municipality is working to get a city growth agreement where the municipality commits to working on the zero growth target for passenger car traffic. In order to achieve these targets, several must leave the vehicle and choose walking, bicycle and public transport. The municipality will contribute to this shift by submitting an offer to its employees who do not wish, or are able to, pay for an electric bicycle in one sum, in the form of leasing through wage deductions. Employees who would like to procure electric bicycles can purchase it via an attractive contract price. The leasing scheme shall be based on the following prerequisites: Leasing period of 3 years.
