The framework agreement is expected to last for 2 years, with the possibility of a further 4-year extension, one year at a time. AHUS HF estimates an annual consumption of capsules at 80 capsules per year, maximum volume in the agreement period is 3030 capsules and includes the options defined in chap. 1.2.1 in the competition regulations. Stated consumption/scope is an estimate for information to the tenderer, and is not binding for future contract volume. The customer buys capsules under a framework agreement and at the same time borrows the necessary equipment to carry out capsule endoscopy free of charge from the supplier.2.1.1.
