OUS c/o Rikshospitalet shall replace outdated call-off centres in theatres, examination rooms, outpatients and intensive care departments, with a new and modern system to ensure optimum operation and functionality. Rikshospitalet has nearly 134 call-off centres in the three operating passages and other special rooms. In this calculation, a double call-off centre (a "duo" call-off centre) is most often used in anaesthesia context, considered to be two call-off centres. In addition there are extraction centres for intensive care operation. Here we count on 42 intensive places. These rooms are small and there are several side-by-side beds. There is little space around the patient places. A "bridge system" is currently used for the central call-offs. This is a rail/boom that runs across the room and where the withdrawal centrals come down from this one. This saves space. We
