The victim should be for up to 100 units with a minimum of 60. The receivers should be waterproof and able to withstand depths up to 600 m and be capable of operating at temperatures as low as -2C. The receivers should have at least 18 months battery life to record data and communicate with a deck box transceiver on the surface to release the unit. The receivers should preferably be able to measure temperature and noise (i.e. to study detection to noise ratio) and detect transmitters sending at 69 kHz including R64k and Open Protocol (OPi, OPs) tags.
