Food means products that are part of the usual assortment of the manufacturer and shall cover all known types of feed for salmon and trout. For marine species such as cod fish and halibut, the tenderer shall be able to cover feed for the fish species' growth phase to pedigree fish (from 2mm pellet). The contract shall ensure the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research an appropriate, stable, cost effective and qualitatively good delivery of fodder for the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research ́s locations in Matre, in Austevoll and at Bergen.The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research is carrying out many different trials. There will, therefore, be a need to be able to use other suppliers for the delivery of feed for some minor trials. The expected delivery quantity of feed will be in the area of 550-650t (salmon/trout) and 8-12 tons (marine). The maximum agreement period for 4 years will be approx. 2,700 t
