ric significance because of their role in the 1916 Rising and which are, in service to the conclusions of the Moore St Advisory Group, a consultation process created by the Government to advise on the way forward for the site, being conserved and opened to the public as a visitor attraction. The proposed development of a new building at the Moore Lane site will form a companion building which is complementary to the existing historic buildings on Moore St and which will, when complete, form the unitary visitor experience at the site. The entire of the site, including both the historic houses and the site to the rere, is designated as a National Monument and the development of the new building will therefore be subject to particular constraints, including observance of the Ministerial Consent which is a Statutory process under the National Monuments Act. The development will not be subject to normal Planning procedures which are effectively replaced by the Ministerial Consent process. However, the Design process will in all respects mirror the normal expected standards of performance and compliance in regard to all relevant matters. The primary role envisaged for the new building is related to the visitor experience at the site. This will include: - Interpretation and Exhibition related to the 1916 Rising and the particular event
