The procurement is described in more detail in the Call for Tender and its annexes. The process and content of service order is described in Procurement description (annex 3). The service provided needs to be consistent with the procurement description, and the service provider needs to accept the procurement description and the process. The total number of samples to be sequenced (DNA samples and bacterial strains) is typically 500-1500 per year. The number of bacterial isolates is approximately 250-1000 per year. The number of DNA samples is expected to be lower, possibly between 0 to 500. The contract will be awarded to one (1) Service Provider.
