To date, numerous stakeholders have called upon the Commission to advance and strengthen the EU’s just transition framework. In this context, this upcoming call for tenders seeks proposals for the establishment of an European Fair Transition Observatory in 2024. The Observatory is expected to facilitate the monitoring and implementation of fair transition policies across the EU, at all levels and involving key stakeholders, in different domains beyond coal intensive regions and sectors.
