erment of Women as Key Actors for an Ecological and Socially Just Transformation in the Amazon aims to strengthen the equal social, economic, and political participation of women in the Amazon region. Scheduled to run from January 2025 to December 2027, this initiative addresses the structural, institutional, and social barriers that hinder women's participation in a Just Transition. Objectives and Approach The project employs a multi-level approach to empower women by enhancing specific skills, methodologies, and strategies. This empowerment enables women to demand gender equality, benefit from gender-equitable economic and political measures, and play significant roles in the civil society-state dialogue and policy-making processes. Role of the Ministry of Women's Affairs The Brazilian Ministry of Women's Affairs is the political partner and is responsible for developing and implementi
