has been identified as a priority area of development cooperation between the German and Ugandan governments. GIZ Uganda's Energy and Climate Cluster, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), aims to support the Ugandan government to enhance its means of implementation for climate action. Specifically, GIZ looks to strengthen the capacity of the Climate Finance Unit of the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development of Uganda, for the development of bankable projects that can mobilise climate finance at different scales, to meet the Country's national climate change targets.
